Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Celta Vigo.

Real Madrid will need to assess the fitness of a number of players ahead of Saturday's La Liga contest with Celta Vigo.

Eden Hazard will definitely be unavailable, having undergone an operation to remove a metal plate in his leg, while the league leaders are also without Isco and Luka Jovic.

Indeed, Isco is out with a back problem, while Jovic is missing with the injury that he suffered on international duty with Serbia.

Toni Kroos will need to be monitored, having suffered with a stomach illness earlier this week, and it seems unlikely that the German will be risked ahead of the Champions League game with Chelsea next week.

Ferland Mendy has made strong progress in his recovery from an abductor issue, but the left-back is unlikely to be risked from the start, so Nacho could again feature at left-back.

Federico Valverde is in line for a spot in midfield, while Karim Benzema, who missed El Clasico with a calf problem, is expected to return to lead the line.

Head coach Carlo Ancelotti, who is unlikely to be on the touchline due to a positive COVID-19 test, has decisions to make in the wide areas.

Vinicius Junior is expected to start on the left despite the fact that the clash with Chelsea will come soon after this game, while Rodrygo could feature on the right.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Nacho; Valverde, Casemiro, Modric; Rodrygo, Benzema, Vinicius
