Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly contemplating a future approach for Crystal Palace midfielder Michael Olise.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly identified Crystal Palace midfielder Michael Olise as a future transfer target.

Before the start of the season, changes were made behind the scenes at Parc des Princes as Luis Campos was appointed as the club's football advisor.

Campos's arrival also led to a different approach in the transfer market with seven players all 26 years of age and below brought into the first-team squad.

PSG are currently in the process of complementing those transfers by extending the contract of Lionel Messi, who is due to be out of contract in the summer.

Nevertheless, that will not prevent the French giants from placing players who they may approach in the future on a shortlist.

According to the Daily Mail, that is the case with Olise whose performances at Selhurst Park have seemingly not gone unnoticed.

The report suggests that PSG officials have been left impressed by the progression of the playmaker since switching from EFL football to the Premier League.

Olise has contributed a total of three goals and nine assists from his 42 appearances in England's top flight, 23 of which have come from the starting lineup.

Despite his return in terms of numbers being no more than solid, the 21-year-old is one of the standout names in a Palace side that has made progression under the guidance of Patrick Vieira.

While key figures behind the scenes at Palace may recognise that the France Under-21 international will eventually move to a bigger club, the London outfit remain in a strong position with regards to his future.

Olise still has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract and no bid is expected to be made during the January transfer window.

PSG would likely look to offload at least one squad member if they wished to sign Olise with only Sergio Ramos's and Messi's contracts due to expire at the end of June.

Christophe Galtier has also handed first-team experience to teenage midfield duo Warren Zaire-Emery and Ismael Gharbi this campaign, another factor which may be taken into consideration when assessing whether to move for Olise.
