How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Bordeaux

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for when they face Bordeaux this weekend.

Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to return to winning ways in Ligue 1 when they welcome Bordeaux to the French capital on Saturday afternoon.

PSG suffered their first league defeat of the season away to Lyon last weekend, with Moussa Dembele and Nabil Fekir scoring in a 2-1 home success for Les Gones.

Thomas Tuchel's side will be keen to return to winning ways this weekend, but they still hold a 10-point lead over second-placed Lille with two games in hand.

Meanwhile, it would be fair to say that the French champions will have more than one eye on the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash away to Manchester United next week.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how PSG could line up against Bordeaux.

POSS PSG XI vs. BOR

Out: Neymar (foot), Lassana Diarra (knee)
Doubtful: Marco Verratti (unknown)

PSG will again be without the services of Neymar as the Brazilian recovers from the foot injury which has sidelined him since January 23.

Lassana Diarra is also still out with a knee problem, while Marco Verratti is a huge doubt.

Verratti has only just returned to training following an ankle injury, but he has picked up a fresh problem this week and Tuchel has conceded that the midfielder is unlikely to face Bordeaux.

Leandro Paredes could be in line for his full Ligue 1 debut having appeared off the bench against Lyon, while Thomas Meunier and Stanley Nsoki could feature as Tuchel considers resting key players ahead of the European tie at Old Trafford.

That said, it seems likely that the likes of Angel di Maria, Julian Draxler, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani will all start.
