Palace 'eyeing deal for Man City defender Laporte'
Crystal Palace are reportedly lining up an ambitious move for Manchester City centre-back Aymeric Laporte.
The Spain international's future is currently the subject of much speculation, and he is widely expected to leave the Etihad Stadium before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Star, the Eagles are eyeing a move for Laporte, who is believed to be prepared to leave the treble winners during the current market in search of regular action.
The report claims that Palace head coach Roy Hodgson views Laporte as a leading target and is hopeful of convincing the Spaniard to make the move to Selhurst Park during the summer window.
Everton sign Arnaut Danjuma on loan from Villarreal

Everton have announced the signing of Arnaut Danjuma on a season-long loan from Villarreal.
The 26-year-old spent the second half of the 2022-23 campaign on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, representing the North London side on 12 occasions, scoring twice in the process.
Spurs turned down the chance to acquire the Netherlands international on a permanent basis, but he is now back in the Premier League for a third time, with Everton signing him for the 2023-24 season.
Danjuma previously represented Bournemouth between 2019 and 2021, scoring 17 goals and registering eight assists in 52 appearances in all competitions, ahead of a move to Villarreal.
Al-Nassr 'keen to sign Eric Bailly from Manchester United'

Al-Nassr have reportedly registered their interest in Manchester United's Eric Bailly, as the centre-back prepares to leave the 20-time English champions during this summer's transfer window.
The 29-year-old made the move to Man United from Villarreal in 2016, and he has made 113 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions, with his most productive season at the club proving to be his first, when he featured on 38 occasions.
Bailly has struggled with various fitness issues in recent years, though, and he only featured seven times during the 2021-22 season before spending the 2022-23 campaign on loan at Marseille.
The Ivory Coast international made 23 appearances for Marseille last season, but he largely found it difficult to make his mark for the French outfit.

Wycombe boost attack with Dale Taylor loan
Wycombe Wanderers have signed Nottingham Forest striker Dale Taylor on a season-long loan ahead of the new League One campaign.
The 19-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Burton Albion, where he delivered five goals in 20 appearances.
Taylor had been on Forest's pre-season tour of Spain but flew to Nottingham yesterday to pen a contract with Matt Bloomfield's side.
"Dale is a player I've been tracking for a long time and I know there were a lot of clubs at this level trying to bring him in, so it's a fantastic signing for us and I'm delighted that we've got it done," said Bloomfield, who has signed seven other plays so far this summer.
"He scored against us back in March and I went up to Burton to watch him against Cambridge in April. He showed me all the attributes of a player I wanted in my team and we've been chasing him ever since."

Newcastle United announce Harvey Barnes signing

Newcastle United have completed the signing of winger Harvey Barnes from Leicester City.
The 25-year-old has penned a five-year contract until June 2028 and joins the Magpies for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £39m.
Barnes becomes Eddie Howe's third signing of the summer transfer window after the arrivals of teenage forward Yankuba Minteh and Italy international Sandro Tonali.
Speaking to Newcastle's official website about his move to St James' Park, Barnes said: "I'm delighted. It's an amazing club and for me it's a massive opportunity to come and be involved in a successful team that's doing exciting things, so I'm absolutely buzzing to be here.

Jurgen Klopp promises more Liverpool signings this summer
Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has insisted that the Reds will strengthen their squad before this summer's transfer window closes for business.
The Merseyside giants have made two signings during the current window, bringing in Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion and Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig.
However, there have already been four midfield departures this summer, with Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leaving on free transfers, while Fabio Carvalho has joined Leipzig on loan.
Arthur has also returned to Juventus following an unsuccessful loan spell, and there is currently speculation surrounding the futures of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.
Man United 'to trigger extension in Wan-Bissaka contract'
Manchester United are reportedly preparing to activate a one-year extension in Aaron Wan-Bissaka's deal, with the defender now viewed as an important player for the club.
The 25-year-old's terms with the 20-time English champions are due to expire next summer, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future over the last 12 months.
However, Wan-Bissaka was in impressive form for the Red Devils in the second half of the 2022-23 campaign, and according to The Sun, Man United are now preparing to trigger a one-year extension in his contract.
The report claims that the club's head coach Erik ten Hag is determined to keep hold of the Englishman, who has started all three of the team's pre-season games this summer against Leeds United, Lyon and Arsenal.
Manchester United sell defender Alex Telles to Al-Nassr
Manchester United have confirmed that defender Alex Telles has joined Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Nassr.
The Red Devils signed the Brazil international Porto in October 2020, and he made 24 appearances for the club during the 2020-21 campaign before playing another 26 times in 2021-22.
Telles was not part of Man United manager Erik ten Hag's plans for the 2022-23 season, though, which led to him joining Spanish outfit Sevilla on loan.
The left-back featured on 38 occasions for Sevilla last term, including 27 in La Liga, and there had been suggestions that he could make the move to Estadio Ramon on a permanent basis.
Transfer rumours: Origi to West Ham, De Gea rejects Inter, Antonio to Al Ettifaq

West Ham United are reportedly in discussions with AC Milan over the possibility of signing experienced forward Divock Origi during this summer's transfer window.
The Belgium international has not been included in Milan's pre-season tour squad, with the club keen to move him on before the end of the market.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a number of clubs have expressed an interest in signing the 28-year-old, but West Ham are in a strong position, with the Hammers currently 'talking' to Milan about a deal.
The report claims that Origi is reluctant to leave San Siro unless his current salary is matched, which could make it difficult for West Ham to sign him.
Charlie Savage leaves Manchester United to join Reading

Reading have secured the signing of Charlie Savage from Manchester United, with the midfielder penning a four-year contract at the League One club.
The 20-year-old signed his first professional contract with the Red Devils in April 2021 and went on to make his first-team debut for the club in December 2021, coming off the bench against Young Boys in the Champions League.
Savage spent the second half of last season on loan at Forest Green Rovers in League One, making 15 appearances, before returning to Old Trafford.
The midfielder was left out of the Man United squad that travelled to the United States for their pre-season tour, fuelling suggestions that he would be leaving the club this summer.
