Norwich City and Bournemouth faced off in the Premier League at Carrow Road this afternoon.
Both sides were looking to continue their solid starts to the campaign, having both taken four points from their opening four matches of the season.
However, Norwich put the Cherries to the sword with a dominant performance as Cameron Jerome, Wes Hoolahan and Matt Jarvis fired Alex Neil's men to a convincing victory, despite a late consolation goal from Steve Cook.

2.01pmAfter two weeks away due to the international break, the Premier League returns as the two newly-promoted teams face off for the first time this season at Carrow Road to continue their solid starts to the campaign.
2.03pmNorwich's bright start to the season came crashing to a halt in their last match against Southampton as they succumbed to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of the Saints, losing their first match of the campaign. The defeat was also the first time the team had lost an away match under the tenure of Alex Neil, so the players will be determined to bounce back this afternoon.
2.06pmNeil was frustrated by his side's inability to add players over the summer, but the Canaries did manage to sign striker Dieumerci Mbokani on loan from Dynamo Kiev to bolster their frontline, while Matt Jarvis also arrived on loan from West Ham United. Robbie Brady has had a bright start to his Norwich career, although he struggled at times in their defeat to Southampton. Neil will be hopeful that his new signings can settle into the side immediately to add further competition places in his squad.
2.10pmBournemouth were dealt a huge blow just before the close of the transfer window with the news that new signings Max Gradel and Tyrone Mings were ruled out for the majority of the campaign with serious injuries. The Cherries managed to sign Joe Bennett and Glenn Murray on deadline day to bolster their ranks, but Eddie Howe and his team know that they face a major challenge to remain in the top flight.
2.14pmThe Cherries have had a bright start to their campaign following their 4-3 victory over West Ham United at Upton Park last month. Callum Wilson has managed to hit the ground running in the Premier League by netting four goals in his opening four matches, including his hat-trick against the Hammers. Howe's side came within four minutes of adding a second victory to their total this season until Jamie Vardy scored a late penalty to rescue a point for Leicester City at Dean Court last time out. So there is plenty to build on for the Cherries at Carrow Road this afternoon.

Steven Whittaker is suspended after he was dismissed at St Mary's Stadium, allowing Andre Wisdom to come into the team at right-back. Meanwhile, new signing Matt Jarvis comes straight into the side to replace Graham Dorrans. Cameron Jerome continues to lead the line as Lewis Grabban is absent after he was not allowed to leave the club by Neil causing him to vent his frustration at the Scot, and as a result he is not included in the squad this afternoon. Mbokani features on the bench following his move from Dynamo Kiev.
2.32pmHowe has made three changes to his side from their draw with Leicester last time out. Gradel's injury allows Junior Stanislas to come into the team on the wing, while Joshua King takes Lee Tomlin's place alongside Wilson in attack. Meanwhile, Adam Smith replaces Charlie Daniels at left-back, and new signings Murray and Joe Bennett start on the bench for the Cherries.
2.36pmThe sides faced off in the Championship last year, and although Bournemouth were promoted as champions they failed to beat the Canaries in both of their contests in the campaign. Norwich recorded a 2-1 victory in their last meeting at Dean Court in January, with Jerome getting the decisive goal.
2.40pmHowe has admitted that he is looking at today's fixture to see how much his side have improved from last season. He told BBC Sport: "We're two teams that were in the same league last year and fought a really good battle to try and get out of the Championship, and both sides were successful. This game gives us a good marker, to see how much we've improved during the summer to now."
2.43pmNorwich midfielder Jonny Howson has admitted that his side are looking for a reaction from their defeat to Southampton this afternoon.
He told the club's official website: "We're looking for a reaction, because our focus is always on the next match, regardless of the previous result.
"Having said that, after a defeat you certainly want to put it right as quickly as possible. Our previous games are in the past now though, and we can't affect them.
"We'll concentrate on what we can control, which is the Bournemouth match. We know it's going to be a difficult test, but the disappointment of Southampton will drive us forward."

3 minA nasty collision between Tettey and King leaves the Norwich needing treatment on the pitch. It was a clash of heads between the duo and the Norwich man has come off worse, which could be cause for concern for Neil.
5 minWilson tries to get away from the challenge of Martin, who drags him back and concedes the free kick. Stop-start contest so far at Carrow Road.
7 minMartin puts the ball behind for a corner under pressure from Wilson. Stanislas stands over the ball at the corner and receives a lecture from referee Martin Atkinson about the placement of the ball in the quadrant. The winger puts the ball into a dangerous area, but Atkinson blows for a foul by Elphick.
9 minWilson is now flagged offside for the visitors, who have seen a lot of the ball, but are yet to threaten Ruddy.
9 minHoolahan gets in behind the Cherries defence and tries to find the run of Jerome in the middle, but he can only send his low cross into the sidenetting from a tight angle down the right. Slow start to the match from both sides.
11 minJerome turns in confined space down the right and tries to bustle his way past Cook, and manages to win the corner off the defender. Good play from the forward.
12 minSHOT! Brady lifts the ball into the box, but King clears the danger. The left-back gets a second attempt and his cross is cleared once again to the edge of the area, but this time Tettey latches on to the ball and fires a vicious volley towards the net. However, his strike sails well over the bar.
13 minFrancis loses the ball up the field and Jarvis hits the Cherries on the break by racing down the left flank. He gets to the byline, but his low cross is cleared away by Elphick. Good break, but poor delivery by the former Wolverhampton Wanderers man.
15 minEunan O'Kane fires the ball across the pitch into the path of Francis. The full-back tries to beat Brady down the flank and finds enough space to dig out a cross, but Ruddy is able to claim the ball with ease at his near post.
17 minSurman lofts the ball over the top of the Norwich defence to put Wilson in behind, but the ball has far too much pace on it for the striker and Ruddy beats him to the ball on the edge of his area to gather.

21 minRedmond collects a pass from Hoolahan in stride on the edge of the box and Jerome peels of his man and makes a good run into the box, opening a path for a through-ball. However, the winger's attempt to find the striker is cut out by Elphick. It was a poor pass from the England Under-21 international.

24 minYELLOW CARD! Smith goes into the book now for a shove on Hoolahan. Referee Atkinson has been very quick on the whistle and with his cards this afternoon, and the game is suffering as a result.
25 minHowson releases the run of Jarvis down the left and the winger has space and time to pick out a target in the middle. However, he tries to clip the ball to the near post and Boruc gathers with ease. Lots of possession so far for the home side, but nothing much to show for it.
27 minPoor from King as O'Kane lifts the ball over the top of the Norwich defence and the forward gets to the byline, but he cannot keep the ball going out of play due to a poor first touch. There was an opening for the Cherries there had King kept the ball in play.
29 minCHANCE! Bournemouth string several passes together and advance slowly towards the edge of the box. King then chips the ball over the top of Bassong for the run of Stanislas, but just as the winger is about to pull the trigger Brady comes across to make an excellent last-ditch tackle to send the ball out for a corner.
30 minYELLOW CARD! Hoolahan is cautioned for handball down the right wing.
31 minCHANCE! Hoolahan breaks forward and slides the ball into the path of Jerome in the inside right channel, and the striker unleashes a powerful strike towards the bottom corner. The fans behind the goal erupt, but they soon sit down as the see the ball has hit the sidenetting. Close from the forward!
33 minWilson raids in behind the Norwich defence down the left and tries to find King in the middle, but the forward fails to make a run. He goes back to Ritchie on the edge of the box, but his low ball into the box is cleared away by Martin.

35 minNorwich take the lead and although Jerome puts the ball into the back of the net, the goal is all about Hoolahan due to his wonderful assist. The midfielder beats Cook all ends up down the right and advances into the box before sliding the ball into the path of Jerome, taking out Boruc, leaving the striker with a simple tap-in.
38 minNeil's men are controlling the game at the moment by dominating possession. Howson, Hoolahan and Tettey are using the ball very effectively in midfield to thwart the best attempts to get back into the game from the visitors.
42 minBrady feed Jarvis down the left and the winger takes a touch to try to raid past Francis, but the right-back recovers well to bustle the winger off the ball and claim possession.

45 + 1 minOFF THE POST! Bournemouth come within inches of an equaliser as the visitors win a free kick and the ball is pumped long into the box. Elphick climbs to guide the header towards the near post and Wilson knicks in ahead of Bassong to steer the ball towards goal, only to see his effort clatter off the woodwork.

3.50pmNorwich hold a 1-0 lead at the break thanks to Jerome's first goal of the season. The Canaries were the better side in the first half, although the Cherries did come within inches of a leveller just before the break. Neil will be pleased with what he has seen from his side in the middle of the park in terms of possession, but he will want to see a clinical edge in the final third that was lacking from their play bar Hoolahan's moment of magic to tee up Jerome.
3.52pmHowe will be disappointed to be behind at the break as his side matched the Canaries for the majority of the half, but will rue one lapse at the back as Hoolahan broke through their line and squared for Jerome to tap in. Wilson has been a thorn in the side of the Canaries and could have brought the Cherries level just before the break, which will encourage Howe. There are opportunities there for the visitors, they just have to take them when they do.

46 minJerome makes good headway down the left and tries to slide Jarvis in down the inside left channel, but his pass has too much weight on it and Boruc is able to gather.

48 minCHANCE! Norwich raid back upfield immediately and Jerome is afforded space and time on the edge of the box, but he sends his strike just wide of the post, although Boruc had the effort covered anyway.
50 minRedmond takes the ball on the edge of the box and tries to slide Wisdom down the right. He gets the ball back from the full-back and decides to shoot at goal, but his effort goes wide of the target.

52 minThe Canaries double their lead as Hoolahan collects the ball in the midfield and raids toward the edge of the box. No Bournemouth player goes to close him down and the Republic of Ireland man is allowed to pick his spot and fire his effort into the bottom corner. Far too easy for Hoolahan.
54 minFrancis is extremely lucky to stay on the pitch for the visitors when he brings down Jarvis on the flank. The challenge is poor and the full-back has already been in the book, but referee Atkinson chooses not to produce a second yellow.
56 minCHANCE! Wisdom raids down the flank for the home side and puts the ball across the face of goal for the run of Jerome, but Elphick does just enough to divert the ball behind to take it away from the forward, with the goal gaping.
