Newcastle United welcomed Everton to St James' Park on Sunday looking to record their first Premier League win in four games.
Arouna Kone's first goal for Everton sent the away side into a fifth-minute lead, but Papiss Cisse levelled the scores after 34 minutes.
Newcastle were ahead after 51 minutes when Ayoze Perez found the bottom corner, before Jack Colback made it 3-1 after 68 minutes.
Kevin Mirallas scored Everton's second late on, but the home side held on to secure all three points.
