Sunday's MLS predictions including New England Revolution vs. Montreal

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's MLS fixtures, including New England Revolution vs. Montreal.

The New England Revolution are hoping to pad their lead atop the Eastern Conference table when they host CF Montreal at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.

The Revs have won their last two fixtures, hammering Inter Miami 5-0 on Wednesday, while Montreal were shut out for the fifth time this season, losing 1-0 to New York City FC.

We say: New England Revolution 1-0 CF Montreal

New England are showing their depth as the Eastern Conference leaders are first in MLS in goals (28) and assists (29), having gone scoreless only once all season.

Montreal are more than capable of keeping a match close, but they do not have enough attacking threats to bother a much-improved Revolution defence.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

NY City vs. Orlando City (Sunday, 11.00pm)

After both returning to winning ways last time out, New York City FC and Orlando City face off at the Yankee Stadium looking to make it back-to-back victories.

The visitors head into Sunday's meeting in Bronx with a five-point cushion over their hosts, who are three places down below in fifth.

We say: New York City FC 2-1 Orlando City

The onus is more on the hosts to seize the initiative and claim all three points against a more in-form away side. We are backing New York City FC to rise up to the challenge and come out triumphant, albeit by only a narrow margin.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Inter Miami vs. Philadelphia (Monday, 12.30am)

Looking to avoid a seventh consecutive league defeat and potentially move off the foot of the MLS table, Inter Miami play host to Philadelphia Union on Monday.

Meanwhile, the away side seek to consolidate their position in a tightly-packed top half of the log as the season approaches its tipping point.

We say: Inter Miami 1-1 Philadelphia Union

Given their form coming into the contest, Inter Miami will be the happier of the two sides should it end in a draw, and we are predicting the game to pan out that way. However, it will be no surprise if the visitors end up nicking it by the odd goal.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

DC United vs. NY Red Bulls (Monday, 1.00am)

Separated by just one point in the MLS table, DC United and New York Red Bulls go head-to-head at the Audi Field on Sunday.

Both sides are also looking to put together a good run of form following a rough patch which has seen them win just one of their last five league matches apiece.

We say: DC United 1-1 New York Red Bulls

The game promises to be an exciting watch, as both sides will feel that they have enough to pick up all three points. While we expect goals at both ends, we are also backing a share of the spoils, with the teams having to settle for a point apiece in the end.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Seattle vs. Kansas (Monday, 2.00am)

The top two teams in the Western Conference will battle each other for the first time this year when Sporting Kansas City pay a visit to Lumen Field on Sunday to face the Seattle Sounders.

Seattle blanked Austin 1-0 to move five points clear of KC in the west as the Wizards drew 1-1 with the San Jose Earthquakes.

We say: Seattle Sounders 1-1 Sporting Kansas City

The Sounders have had everything seemingly go against them in terms of injuries, but they always seem to find a way to earn a result, and they will have to be especially sharp against the Wizards.

Kansas City should present Seattle with their biggest challenge of the season, and it should be quite the chess match between two of the most brilliant minds in MLS in Brian Schmetzer and Peter Vermes.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
