Motherwell will reportedly name current Scotland assistant Mark McGhee as their new manager.

Motherwell have reportedly chosen to bring back Mark McGhee as their new manager.

The Scottish club are looking for a new boss after the sacking of Ian Baraclough last month.

According to multiple reports this morning, McGhee, 58, who is the current Scotland assistant manager, has been chosen to take over from caretaker boss Stephen Craigan.

McGhee has almost 25 years of managerial experience and would return to Motherwell six years after he left the club following a two-year spell in charge of the Fir Park outfit.

Motherwell are ninth in the Scottish Premiership with three wins from 10 matches this season.
