Thierry Henry is reportedly among the leading contenders for the vacant manager's position at Scottish Premiership club Motherwell.

Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has emerged as one of the favourites for the Motherwell manager's job.

Henry is currently contracted to Sky Sports as a pundit and is working on his coaching badges.

"It's an interesting one but I'm not sure I can really see Thierry leaving Sky for the Motherwell job," Henry's colleague Charlie Nicholas told the Daily Express.

The Scottish Premiership club have reportedly received over 40 applications for the job after Ian Baraclough was sacked on Wednesday.
