Marseille 'eye West Bromwich Albion teenager Tyler Roberts'

Marseille want to sign West Bromwich Albion forward Tyler Roberts, who will be out of contract next summer, according to a report.

Marseille are reportedly interested in signing West Bromwich Albion forward Tyler Roberts.

The 18-year-old is currently on loan at League One side Walsall, where he has scored five times in 15 league appearances this season.

Roberts is highly-rated at West Brom but he will be out of contract at the end of the current season, and it is understood that a number of clubs are interested in signing the teenager.

According to the Daily Mail, Marseille believe that they would only need to pay a compensation fee of £280,000 to sign Roberts, and are confident of enticing the teenager to France.

Roberts, who has scored once in five appearances for Wales Under-21s, has previously spent time on loan at Oxford United and Shrewsbury Town.
