Manchester United are reportedly hoping to keep Paul Pogba at Old Trafford until he hangs up his boots.

Manchester United want Paul Pogba to remain at Old Trafford until he calls time on his playing career, according to a report.

The former Juventus man has now entered the final 12 months of his existing Red Devils deal, and rumours surrounding a possible summer exit continue to swirl.

Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be planning a £51m move for Pogba, while United have been tipped to bring in Eduardo Camavinga as a potential replacement.

However, The Athletic claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are still hopeful of tying the midfielder down to a new long-term deal - one which would see him remain at the club until he hangs up his boots.

The report adds that Pogba is not overly keen on a move to PSG and would be open to penning an extension at United, despite Mino Raiola's claims last year that his client's time at the Red Devils was "over".

Pogba scored one goal and assisted one more for France during an eye-catching Euro 2020 campaign, and he has amassed 38 goals and 42 assists from 206 appearances in a Man United shirt.
