A report claims that Manchester United had scouts present for Benfica's 4-1 win over Santa Clara on Saturday as they continue to keep tabs on in-demand ace Joao Felix.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a bid for Joao Felix after once again sending scouts to watch the Benfica forward in action this weekend.

The 19-year-old has emerged as one of the hottest talents in European football this season by playing a direct part in a combined 26 goals in the Primeira Liga and Europa League.

United have been strongly linked with the teenage attacker in recent weeks and, according to The Star, they had scouts present at the Estadio da Luz on Saturday to watch him up close - not for the first time this year.

Felix scored in the 4-1 win over Santa Clara as Benfica reclaimed the league title from Porto.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and Juventus are all rumoured to be in the running to sign the Portugal Under-21s international, while Atletico Madrid may also step forward with an offer as they are seeking a replacement for Antoine Griezmann.
