Saturday's Premier League predictions including Liverpool vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Liverpool vs. Arsenal.

West Ham vs. Man Utd (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Manchester United will be aiming to build on a welcome point at Anfield last weekend when they resume their Premier League campaign away to West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.

Erik ten Hag's side drew 0-0 with Liverpool in their last match, with the result leaving them in seventh spot in the table on 28 points, while West Ham will enter this game off the back of a 5-1 defeat to Jurgen Klopp's side in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.

We say: West Ham United 2-2 Manchester United

There has not actually been a draw between these two sides since July 2020, with each of their last nine meetings producing a winner, but we are finding it difficult to separate them here. Man United will be the fresher of the two sides; West Ham's league form is strong, though, and both managers might have to accept a share of the spoils in the capital this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Fulham vs. Burnley (Saturday, 3.00pm)

History will be made on Saturday, with Rebecca Welch set to become the first woman to referee a Premier League match when she takes charge of Fulham against Burnley at Craven Cottage.

The hosts are currently 11th in the table, boasting 21 points from their opening 17 matches of the campaign, while Burnley are 19th, picking up eight points from their 17 league games in 2023-24.

We say: Fulham 2-1 Burnley

Burnley are certainly capable of making this an uncomfortable match for Fulham, and we are expecting the visitors to get their name on the scoresheet. Fulham have been strong at home in the league this season, though, and we are backing Silva's side to collect another three points here.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Luton vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Luton Town return to Kenilworth Road on Saturday to meet Newcastle United in what is sure to be an emotionally-charged Premier League contest.

The Hatters' clash with Bournemouth last week was called to a halt following Tom Lockyer's distressing cardiac arrest, while the Magpies come into the fixture having been eliminated from the EFL Cup by Chelsea.

We say: Luton Town 2-1 Newcastle United

The Kenilworth Road atmosphere has already proven intimidating enough for England's most revered clubs this season, but Newcastle will be entering a cauldron on Saturday, as Edwards's side have all the motivation they require to claim a positive result.

With midweek fatigue and disappointment also harming the Magpies, who have flattered to deceive away from St James' Park all season long, we would not put it past a fired-up Luton to emerge triumphant for just the third time in the Premier League against their injury-hit visitors.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Nott'm Forest vs. Bournemouth (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Returning to the Premier League touchline for the first time in over two years, Nuno Espirito Santo's Nottingham Forest baptism takes place on Saturday, as the Tricky Trees host Bournemouth at the City Ground.

Forest parted ways with Steve Cooper following a 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, while the Cherries' clash with Luton Town was abandoned with the scoreline at 1-1 due to Tom Lockyer's distressing cardiac arrest.

We say: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Bournemouth

Santo should not and cannot be expected to solve Forest's problems overnight, and the visit of an in-form Bournemouth side is not exactly a friendly homecoming fixture for the Portuguese.

With Solanke remaining potent in the final third and Bournemouth only conceding one goal in their last 270 minutes of Premier League football on the road, we expect Iraola's troops to subject Santo to a losing start on the City Ground touchline.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Spurs vs. Everton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Seeking an immediate response to a gut-wrenching EFL Cup exit, Everton head south to tackle Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday's Premier League contest.

The hosts strolled to a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest last Friday, while the Toffees' hopes of EFL Cup glory were extinguished in a penalty-shootout loss to Fulham in the quarter-finals.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Everton

Another double dose of suspension misery was not on Tottenham's Christmas wishlist, but Postecoglou's offensive contingent remain as potent as ever and should capitalise on the Toffees' weary legs on Saturday.

Everton's revival has been something to behold, and Dyche's troops should not be blown away in North London by any stretch, but a fifth win on the trot is surely a bridge too far.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Liverpool vs. Arsenal (Saturday, 5.30pm)

The latest mouthwatering item on the festive Premier League menu is a top-of-the-table showdown between Liverpool and Arsenal, who lock horns in Saturday evening's headline encounter at Anfield.

The Gunners boast a one-point advantage over their Merseyside counterparts at this juncture, although Aston Villa are also within touching distance and are waiting to pounce on any slip-ups from their podium rivals.

We say: Liverpool 2-2 Arsenal

With all due respect to West Ham United, facing a full-strength and well-rested Arsenal side will be a totally different proposition to a weakened Irons troupe for Liverpool, whose 11-year streak without an Anfield defeat to the Gunners will be at risk if Klopp's rallying cry to the crowd falls on deaf ears, which it should not.

While William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes can snuff out any central threat, Gooners may harbour concerns about the impending battle between Mohamed Salah and Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Liverpool proved on Wednesday that their Man United wastefulness was just a one-off.

Arsenal have been guilty of profligacy at times throughout the season as well, but Arteta's side remain the comeback kings, and it is simply impossible for us to pick a winner in what should be a mesmerising contest.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
