Manchester United have threatened to ban its season ticket holders should they not attend a minimum number of matches, according to a report.
There has been a long waiting list for season tickets to watch United at Old Trafford for a number of years, with many supporters missing out each season.
Now according to the Daily Star, the Red Devils have written to more than 50,000 supporters highlighting that from next season, their ticket must be used by themselves, or given to someone else, or it will be revoked.
The condition is said to be have been implemented ahead of the 2023-24 campaign, and fans have until May 20 to agree to the new terms and conditions that state the season ticket must be used for at least 10 out of the 19 Premier League games during the season.
United are hoping to maximise the revenues generated from full-capacity crowds at Old Trafford, with as many supporters as possible purchasing merchandise, and food and drink, on matchdays.
The move is said to have angered many supporters though, with many that attend regularly living all around the country, or even abroad.
