Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho has branded fellow England international Marcus Rashford "an inspiration".
Rashford has had his critics in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign, but the Manchester United forward scored a brace against Chelsea in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night to make it seven goals for the season.
Sancho, meanwhile, has managed four goals and seven assists in 14 outings for Dortmund this term.
Taking to Instagram to wish Rashford a happy birthday, Sancho posted: "Happy birthday big bro, an inspiration to us young ballers", before tagging his fellow Englishman in the message.
The former Manchester City youngster continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford, and it has been claimed that United are prepared to meet Dortmund's demands when it comes to a transfer fee.
However, the 20-time English champions will reportedly face competition from five other European giants should they make a move at the end of the campaign.
