The Norwegian’s introduction helped turn around the 2001 meeting between United and Spurs at White Hart Lane.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces the toughest test of his interim reign at Manchester United when his side take on Tottenham on Sunday.

The match pits him against Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who is reportedly the number one target for United to be the permanent successor to Jose Mourinho.

Solskjaer enjoyed a memorable victory against the north Londoners back in September 2001, as United recovered from a 3-0 half-time deficit to win 5-3, with the Norwegian introduced at the start of the second half.

Here, Press Association Sport delves into its picture archive to recall the match.
