Manchester City have reportedly received an 'enquiry' from West Ham United for Jack Grealish.
The 29-year-old winger endured a difficult 2024-25 campaign, scoring three goals and providing five assists in 32 games across all competitions.
Grealish was left out of the City squad that travelled to the United States for the Club World Cup, and he would be allowed to depart in the current transfer window.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, West Ham have made an enquiry about the winger, but the financial part of the deal could make it difficult for the Hammers to sign him.
Everton are also interested in signing Grealish, but only if City allow him to leave on loan.
Grealish heading for Man City exit
Pep Guardiola is reportedly looking to trim the squad, and City could offload as many as six players, including Grealish.
The England international moved to the Etihad Stadium from Aston Villa for £100m in 2021, and he has scored 17 goals in 157 games for City.
Guardiola has added depth in the attacking areas by signing Rayan Cherki this summer, which further raises doubts about Grealish's future.
Tottenham Hotspur and Napoli are reportedly leading the race to sign the former Villa winger, who is valued at around £40m.
Could Grealish replace Mohammed Kudus at West Ham?
West Ham sold Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, and Graham Potter could turn to Grealish to fill the void.
While the Hammers are most likely to meet City's asking price for the player, the overall financial package could be too expensive for them, as Grealish is reportedly on high wages.
Furthermore, West Ham are reportedly open to offers for Lucas Paqueta, who is yet to hear the outcome of the spot-fixing case.
If the Brazilian leaves the club, the Hammers would be in a strong position to make a concrete offer for Grealish. The winger has a contract at City until 2027, and a potential loan move cannot be completely ruled out.
