Manchester City are reportedly prepared to hand over £150m to Pep Guardiola for the manager to spend on transfers.

Manchester City are reportedly prepared to hand over £150m to manager Pep Guardiola to spend on players across the next two transfer windows.

The Spanish boss, who was hired by the two-time Premier League champions in the summer, spent close to £175m on new faces before the new season.

Ilkay Gundogan, Leroy Sane and John Stones were among the arrivals at the Etihad Stadium, but more could be coming through the entrance gate in January.

According to The Mirror, Guardiola feels that he needs two full-backs and a striker to complete his squad, and the club's billionaire owners are willing to back him with the funds.

The report adds that Arsenal's Hector Bellerin, Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci and Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are on Guardiola's wishlist.

City currently have a one-point lead at the top of the Premier League table following six wins and one defeat.
