Manchester City keeper Joe Hart is reportedly planning to spend next season out on loan with a club in Europe.

Manchester City keeper Joe Hart has reportedly indicated to the club that he wants to go out on loan to a team in Europe next season.

The 30-year-old has been out of favour at the Etihad since Pep Guardiola's arrival in the managerial hotseat in 2016, and spent last season with Serie A side Torino before joining West Ham United on a season-long loan deal this term.

Hart has struggled with the relegation-threatened Hammers, however, and has only featured in the FA Cup and League Cup since the end of November, putting his chances of featuring for England at this summer's World Cup in serious doubt.

According to The Sun, Hart has already begun planning for next season and has told City that his preferred option is to go out on loan to a club on the continent for the final year of his £120,000-a-week contract.

"Joe will do what is right for him and his young family," a source told the newspaper. "He long accepted his Man City career is over and values playing above everything else.

"There is still some chatter Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea could be interested but he's been around long enough not to be waiting by the phone.

"He loved his experience of playing on the continent and wouldn't rule anything out at this stage."

Hart has been with City since 2006, during which time he has won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups.
