Huddersfield Town reportedly agree a fee of £10m with Manchester City for midfielder Aaron Mooy.

Huddersfield Town and Manchester City have reportedly come to an agreement over midfielder Aaron Mooy.

The Australian international starred during a loan spell for the Terriers last season as they secured promotion to the Premier League and they immediately set about securing a return for the player.

According to The Mirror, Huddersfield have been successful with a £10m offer for the 26-year-old, who has not played a minute of football for City.

In 2016, the North-West outfit signed him on a three-year deal from Melbourne City, but he was immediately sent out on loan to Huddersfield.

With City well-stocked in the middle of the pitch, it appears that Pep Guardiola has welcomed the opportunity to bring in a big fee for a player who is unproven in the top flight.

Mooy made a total of 51 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring four goals.
