Having helped Arsenal to an unbeaten Premier League season during a seven-year stay in North London, Kolo Toure made the move to Manchester City in 2009 and one year later was joined by his brother Yaya.

Both brought winning experience to the Etihad Stadium just when City were beginning to become one of the major forces in English football, and in 2012 they helped the club to their first top-flight title in 44 years.

Appointed club captain shortly after his arrival at the club, Kolo stayed at City for four years, during which time he made more than 100 appearances for the club across all competitions.

The 2012 Premier League crown was the only piece of silverware he managed during his time at the club, but his influence in helping them make the step up to title challengers was instrumental in their progression.
