Real Madrid have reportedly told Paris Saint-Germain that they need a final answer to their latest offer for Kylian Mbappe by Sunday night.
Los Blancos have submitted two bids for the 22-year-old forward, the second of which is understood to be worth almost £155m including add-ons.
PSG have so far remained steadfast in their insistence that they will not lower their demands, although with Mbappe now in the final year of his contract they risk losing him for nothing next summer should they block an exit now.
Real Madrid are understood to have told PSG that their latest offer is a take-it-or-leave-it one, insisting that they are willing to walk away from talks if it is not accepted.
French outlet Le Parisien also now reports that the Spanish giants have told PSG that they need an answer by Sunday night, before Mbappe leaves for international duty with France.
Madrid fear that negotiations will prove more complicated if the World Cup winner is away with his country, and therefore have decided to bring an end to the saga one way or another this evening.
Mbappe has told the French club that he wants to leave and has rejected a number of new contract offers in order to force through a move to the Spanish capital.
The prolific frontman, who has also been linked with Liverpool, has scored 133 goals and created 63 more in 174 appearances for PSG in total.
Mbappe has been included in PSG's squad for this evening's Ligue 1 clash with Reims, which could see him link up with Lionel Messi and Neymar as a front three for the first time.
