A report claims that Paris Saint-Germain will follow up the world-record signing of Neymar by making a bid for either Philippe Coutinho or Kylian Mbappe.

Paris Saint-Germain are to continue their transfer spending by making a move for one of Philippe Coutinho or Kylian Mbappe, according to a report.

The French giants have already splashed out £198.6m to sign Neymar from Barcelona this summer in an attempt to further close the gap on European football's elite clubs.

Both Coutinho and Mbappe had been strongly linked with a move to the Parc des Princes prior to Neymar's shock arrival, and Le Parisien suggests that PSG are still keeping their options open.

It is claimed that boss Unai Emery wants another marquee addition to partner Neymar, with AS Monaco forward Mbappe the man said to be at the top of his wishlist prior to the August 31 deadline.

Versatile Liverpool ace Coutinho is also wanted by the Parisians, but they fear being knocked back by the Reds.

Coutinho has also been linked with a switch to Barcelona, who are keen to bring in a direct replacement for Neymar in the coming weeks.
