James Milner returns to full Liverpool training after shaking off the thigh injury picked up last week, but Dejan Lovren and Divock Origi are still nursing slight issues.

Liverpool have announced that James Milner has fully recovered from the recent thigh injury that he sustained and has made a return to full training.

The England international left the field midway through the Reds' victory over Leicester City in the Asia Trophy last week and has been unseen since then.

Milner was initially expected to sit out all of Liverpool's ongoing tour of Germany, which kicked off with a 3-0 triumph over Hertha Berlin on Saturday and continues with their participation in the Audi Cup early next week.

Former Manchester City utility man Milner has made a swift recovery, though, having trained with his teammates at their temporary Rottach-Egern base on Sunday afternoon.

Elsewhere, there are still question marks over the fitness of Dejan Lovren and Divock Origi after withdrawing from the friendly against Hertha through injury, with the pair to be closely monitored prior to Tuesday's meeting with Bayern Munich.
