Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: "There is no perfect football team"

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp targets Manchester City's fragile backline as the Reds aim to build on their 3-0 lead from the first leg of the quarter-final tie.

Jurgen Klopp has told his Liverpool players that Manchester City are there for the taking in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

The Reds are in a strong position heading into Tuesday's clash at the Etihad Stadium, holding a 3-0 advantage from the reverse fixture.

City's season has derailed slightly over the past week, having also suffered a 3-2 loss at home to Manchester United in between the two European ties.

Klopp is aware that the match is not over just yet, with October's 5-0 loss at the same ground still fresh in the memory, but says that there will be chances to effectively kill things off with an away goal.

"The quality of City was clear [in the league game]," he told reporters at his pre-match presser. "We all know about Pep [Guardiola] - best coach in the world.

"It was clear they would be outstanding but there is no perfect football team in the world. They have it most consistently, that is why they will be champions, but we know they can concede goals."

Liverpool hope to have leading goalscorer Mohamed Salah and left-back Andrew Robertson available for the second leg.
