Watford manager Javi Gracia insists that Liverpool can win the Champions League and admits that it may be difficult for his side to break them down.

Watford manager Javi Gracia has told reporters that Liverpool are capable of winning the Champions League, ahead of their Premier League clash on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp's side are currently sitting fourth in the Premier League table, and have scored the second most goals in the top flight so far this season, with 68.

Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah, who arrived at the club from Roma last summer, has stood out as the Reds' star man, having scored 24 goals in 29 league appearances so far in his debut season.

"There are many good teams left in the competition, but for sure Liverpool can win the Champions League," Gracia told reporters.

"Their front three is one of the best combinations - I don't know if it is the best in Europe or not, but they are not just about scoring goals: You must pay special attention to their movement and it will be a very demanding game for us.

"If we give them as many chances as we gave Arsenal last week, it will be impossible to get any points there. We will need to minimise our mistakes.

"They are the sixth top scorers in all the major European leagues this year, they are in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and top four of the Premier League."

Liverpool have been drawn against Premier League rivals Manchester City in the last eight of the competition.
