Leicester City's Kasper Schmeichel calms injury fears

Kasper Schmeichel stresses that he has not suffered a hamstring complaint while on international duty with Denmark.

Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has dismissed speculation that he is facing a spell on the sidelines.

The 29-year-old limped out of a training session with his Denmark teammates this weekend amid reports that he had sustained a hamstring injury.

However, Schmeichel has moved to allay any fears regarding his availability, having stressed that his early exit was a mere "precaution".


The custodian has kept 12 clean sheets to help Leicester reach the top of the Premier League.
