Leeds United midfielder Stuart Dallas reveals that he is desperate to sign a new contract at Elland Road.

Stuart Dallas has revealed that he is desperate to sign a new contract with Leeds United.

The Northern Ireland international has made 152 appearances for the Whites over the last four seasons, including six outings in the Championship at the start of the 2019-20 campaign.

The 28-year-old will see his current deal expire at the end of the season, though, and it is understood that talks over a fresh contract are yet to take place.

When addressing the speculation surrounding his future, Dallas refused to hide his desire to remain with Marcelo Bielsa's side due to his happiness at Elland Road.

"I'm in the last year of my contract so let's see what happens," Dallas told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "It's something that's in the clubs hands, we'll see.

"I would love to be there. It's somewhere my kids are growing up now, my wee girl goes to school there, the two boys aren't just at school yet but it's home for them, it's all they've known and my wife is there too."

Leeds will attempt to return to winning ways in the Championship when they make the trip to Barnsley on Sunday afternoon.
