Juventus have reportedly begun negotiating with Boca Juniors to purchase the sell-on clause agreed over midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.
The Uruguayan made his debut for the Argentine giants at 17 years of age, and moved to Juve in 2017 having previously signed a first option as part of the deal that took Carlos Tevez back to the Bombonera.
Bentancur has made an instant impact in his debut Serie A season, racking up 23 appearances in all competitions to date for the Bianconeri and playing himself into contention for the Uruguay World Cup squad.
According to Goal.com, Juve are keen to remove a clause that was signed in Bentancur's €9.5m (£8.2m) transfer, with Boca entitled to 50% of any future sale involving the youngster.
Mindful of the Argentines picking up part of a lucrative future move, Juve have reportedly started talks with the Xeneize to eliminate the clause in return for a one-off payment, thought to be in the region of "several million Euros".
Bentancur is also believed to be on the radar of La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
