Scunthorpe United secure the services of Hull City's young centre-forward Greg Luer on a one-month loan deal.

Hull City striker Greg Luer has joined Scunthorpe United on an initial one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old has scored twice in his six appearances for the Tigers this season, but he will now look to gain more game time at Glanford Park.

"I am looking forward to it. I need to get some games, especially league games, and hopefully I can go to Scunthorpe and do that and score some goals to show the manager what I can do," he told Hull's official website.

"Hopefully I'll get my chance and I feel a lot more confident going out on loan this year than I did last year.

"A loan move has been mentioned a few times over the last month and now it's happening so I'm looking forward to getting started."

Luer joined Hull from Burgess Hill Town 13 months ago.
