The Baggies, who were searching for a third straight win, took the lead before half-time through Gareth McAuley'd first-half header.
However, Hull snatched a point through Michael Dawson's 72nd-minute close-range effort.

He is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "We played very well as a team against Burnley. The last couple of games we've been very, very good.
"Winning breeds confidence. We have got to keep that level of performance up. We have got to maintain the level of togetherness and try to keep doing what we've done."
He told reporters: "We have to get over the disappointment of last weekend quickly because it's a fact that we didn't defend well enough and that we didn't score goals from the chances we created - and we did create chances.
"It's sometimes easier said than done to fix that, but we have to give a good show this weekend now. I'm sure that if we keep that same forward-thinking attitude, then we will start to score goals."
