Head coach David Wagner will remain at Huddersfield Town next season, according to his agent Marc Kosicke.

Agent Marc Kosicke has revealed that David Wagner will remain as head coach at Huddersfield Town next season.

Wagner has been linked with a number of jobs both in England and his native Germany but at the end of last month, he guided Huddersfield to promotion to the Premier League with victory over Reading in the Championship playoff final.

However, after talks with the Terriers hierarchy, Kosicke has announced that his client intends to stay at the John Smith's Stadium.

He told SPORT1: "After the emotional recent days and the trusting talks with the club's owners, David Wagner has chosen, despite some interesting offers, the Premier League adventure with Huddersfield."

Since arriving at the club in November 2015, the 45-year-old has won 37 of his 86 matches in charge.
