Paris Saint-Germain made the trip to Guingamp in Ligue 1 on Saturday afternoon.

The league leaders went into this game off the back of being eliminated in the Coupe de France in midweek.

3.30pmGood afternoon and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage from Ligue 1 where Paris Saint-Germain make the trip to Guingamp.

3.32pmThis match represents the second of the weekend, following Lille's 1-1 draw with Rennes last night, ahead of several fixtures later this evening and of course tomorrow's action. Right now though, our attention is on the champions who are looking to bounce back from a cup exit.

3.33pmPSG were shockingly knocked out of the Coupe de France on Wednesday night after losing to Montpellier HSC at the Parc des Princes, which ends their dreams of winning the quadruple. Laurent Blanc's side are looking to bounce back in the best possible way as they travel to newly-promoted Guingamp today.

3.35pmThe loss to Montpellier was all the more surprising given PSG's 5-0 demolition of Nantes last weekend, although the Canaries were as disappointing as the champions were sublime. Ibrahimovic, who took his tally to 17 for the season with a brace in that win and also added a ninth assist of the campaign for good measure, is likely to be back in the starting lineup today.

The Swede will no doubt return to the starting line-up at the Stade Municipal du Roudourou where Blanc's men will attempt to add to their imposing tally of 51 goals after 21 games, the highest such total at this stage of a French top-flight season since AS Saint-Etienne struck 57 times in 1969-70.

3.38pmMeanwhile, Guingamp can only dream of such lethalness in front of goal, with their rivals boasting Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani among others. Jocelyn Gourvennec's side failed to score in Ligue 1 since their 1-1 draw with Valenciennes at the beginning of December. This drought means that they are in grave danger of wasting their fine start to the season after a run of six games without a win that has seen them slide down the table to 14th; eight points clear of the drop zone.

3.39pmHaving been promoted from Ligue 2 last summer, Guingamp looked to have taken the step up in their stride when they sat in eighth place on 19 points after just 14 games in late November. However, a further seven games have brought just six more points.

3.41pmRight, let's get the team news, starting with the hosts.

3.43pmGUINGAMP XI: Assembe, Martins Pereira, Sorbon, Diallo, Dos Santos, Kerbrat, Mathis, Alioui, Atik, Giresse, Yatabare

3.44pmGourvennec makes four changes to the team that beat Concarneau after extra time in the Coupe de France in midweek.

3.46pmGoalkeeper Guy N'dy Assembe, Jonathan Martins Pereira, Rachid Alioui and Thibault Giresse all come into the team. Mamadou Samassa, Baissama Sankoh, Cedric Faure and drop to the bench, while Ladislas Douniama miss out altogether.

3.47pmHere is what Gourvennec has in reserve.

3.48pmGUINGAMP BENCH: Samassa, Cerdan, Sankoh, Beauvue, Langil, Dembele, Faure

3.50pmSo that's what the hosts have to offer, let's take a peek at the champions.

3.50pmPSG XI: Sirigu, Van der Wiel, Alex, Marquinhos, Maxwell, Matuidi, Motta, Verratti, Pastore, Cavani, Ibrahimovic

3.52pmBlanc makes five changes to the PSG team that were dumped out of the Coupe de France by Montpellier on Wednesday.

3.54pmThe big news is that PSG are without captain Thiago Silva for the match, I assume he has an injury. Other men to lost their place in the first team are goalkeeper Nicolas Douchez, Lucas Digne, Jeremy Menez and Lucas.

3.55pmIn their places comes Salvatore Sirigu, Maxwell, Alex, Thiago Motta and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with the Sweden captain likely to skipper the side today.

3.55pmHere are the PSG substitutes.

3.56pmPSG BENCH: Douchez, Camara, Digne, Lucas, Coman, Menez, Ongenda

3.58pmSo those are your two teams, kick off is a few minutes away.

4pmOut come the teams, and we're set to go in this match.

1 minKICKOFF! PSG get the match underway, playing from left to right.

2 minPSG have already had two corners as they look for an early lead. Nothing came of the first one, and the second one is headed clear.

3 minGuingamp are in their first kit of red shirts, black shorts and red socks, while PSG are sporting their all-white away kit with red and blue blocks on the shirts.

4 minIt's been all PSG so far as they dominate possession. I'm not sure if Guingamp have touched the ball yet.

6 minGuingamp have started to get a bit more of the ball now, as they look to mount some sort of offense.

7 minCorner to Guingamp out on the right.

8 minThe corner is swung in and bobbles about in the box, before Sirigu can dive on top of it under pressure from Yatabare.

9 minMore offense from Guingamp as Yatabare picks up the ball on the right edge of the box before hitting a low shot across the face of goal. It's gathered well and held by Sirigu.

11 minPSG now go up the other end for the first time in a while. Ibrahimovic gets the pass and lets fly from the edge of the box, but his shot was always rising.

14 minFree kick for Ibrahimovic, who lines this one up on the right from 30 yards out.

15 minCHANCE! Ibrahimovic opts to blast it, but it's high and over.

18 minCLOSE! That's the nearest we've come to an opener as Alioui hits a shot on the half-volley from range which just bounces wide of the far post and had Sirigu scrambling.

20 minIt's been a fairly even start to the game from these sides, although Assembe has not had a lot to do in the Guingamp goal.

22 minNice spell of attack from PSG here, who feel that should have had a penalty for a handball from a Cavani shot. The protests are waved away by the referee, and Guingamp can clear the danger.

25 minPSG have started to take a bit of a foothold in this game now, and are camped outside the Guingamp box. They're finding it hard to penetrate through at the moment though.

27 minAlioui has been very lively for the home side so far, and has just sent a header wide of the back post from a cross on the right.

30 minVerratti loses his rag with the referee after he commits a foul, and is a bit lucky to not pick up a card.

33 minYELLOW CARD: Yatabare is booked for a high foot.

35 minPSG are still dominating possession currently, but don't have a lot to show for it.

37 minPSG win a corner on the right, but it's easily dealt with by Sorbon who clears.

40 minYELLOW CARD: Marco Verratti is booked for tripping Giresse, who was breaking away after PSG went close in a goalmouth scramble. Giresse didn't half throw himself to the ground though.

41 minNice bit of build-up play by PSG as they work their way to the edge of the box, but Ibrahimovic, under the sliding challenge of Pereira, has his shot deflected over for a corner.

42 minMotta floats the corner in to the back post, but Guingamp can clear Ibrahimovic's header.

43 minSAVE! Great hit from Ibrahimovic, who smashes a swerving low strike from 30 yards out, but Assembe does well to get across and push the ball away from trouble.

45 minCLOSE! Alioui's free kick from 30 yards causes havoc in the PSG box as it bounces just in front of Sirigu, forcing the keeper to make a rather awkward save.

45+1 minHALF TIME: Guingamp 0-0 Paris Saint-Germain

4.49pmGoalless at the break, decent in parts, lacking in others.

4.51pmPSG have dominated possession, but not the game. Ibrahimovic forced a fine save from Assembe just minutes before Alioui gave Sirigu a panic with his free kick.

4.51pmThat's the closest we've come, but we still await the breakthrough.

5.02pmThe teams are ready to return.

46 minKICKOFF! Guingamp, playing to the right, get the match back underway.

47 minCHANCE! Early opportunity in the half for Guingamp, but Yatabare's diving header bounces wide of the left post.

48 minYELLOW CARD: Diallo is correctly booked for chopping down Ibrahimovic.

49 minPSG put the free kick into the box, but Guingamp can clear.

52 minGOAL! Oh no, it's offside. Cavani prods the ball past Assembe, but is flagged up by the linesman.

53 minIt was a lovely ball over the top by Motta for the disallowed goal by the way. Unfortunately for him, it came to nothing.

56 minGuingamp are edging their way back into the match now after a weathering a bit of a PSG storm. The home crowd are right behind them.

60 minThe game's hit a bit of a quiet spot, with not a lot going on at the moment.

61 minLucas is warming up for the hosts.

63 minMotta floats a free kick into the back post from the left, but Alex's header is comfortably stopped by Assembe.

66 minStill not a lot happening.

70 minPSG CHANGE: Javier Pastore is taken off, with Lucas Moura sent on. He should add some much-needed pace.

71 minCHANCE! Giresse has an opportunity for Guingamp after Yatabare's blocked header makes its way to the edge of the box. Giresse can't keep it down, and he slams it over the bar.

73 minGuingamp have a couple of corners from the left, but neither can test Sirigu, who catches both comfortably.

75 minThis game really needs something to spark it into life. It's really stale heading into the final 15 minutes of the match.

77 minGuingamp are beginning to get on top, and looks as if they are ready to make a change.

79 minGUINGAMP CHANGE: Mana Dembele enters the fray, replacing Giresse.

82 minGUINGAMP CHANGE: Beauvue takes the place of Atik.

83 minThis would be a brilliant point for Guingamp, but cap a bad week for PSG. It would also allow Monaco to potentially cut the gap to just three points.

84 minGOAL! Guingamp 1-0 Paris Saint-Germain (Mustapha Yatabare)

84 minIt could be about to get a whole lot worse for the champions! Guingamp take the lead after Yatabare rises on the penalty spot to head home a corner.

84 minThat was Guingamp's first league goal in five matches, and may condemn PSG to just their second defeat in the division this season.

87 minGOAL! Guingamp 1-1 Paris Saint-Germain (Alex)

87 minWell that didn't last long. Alex heads PSG back on level terms by getting on the end of a corner at the back post.

88 minIs there time for a late winner?

89 minGUINGAMP CHANGE: Alioui is replaced by Beauvue.

90 minThere will be two minutes of added time.

90+2 minFULL TIME: Guingamp 1-1 Paris Saint-Germain

5.51pmThere's the full-time whistle, and PSG have been held to a draw by Guingamp; a priceless point for the home team.

5.52pmThat's all from me, but stay with Sports Mole this evening for more Ligue 1 coverage.
