Germany moved up to second place in the Euro 2016 qualification Group D standings by cruising past Gibraltar 7-0 at the Estadio Algarve.
A shock of sorts appeared to be on the cards following a low-scoring first half, which saw Bastian Schweinsteiger miss an early penalty before Andre Schurrle tucked home the only goal.
The world champions turned on the style following the restart, however, as former Chelsea outcast Schurrle added two more to his personal tally, in between strikes from Max Kruse, Karim Bellarabi and Ilkay Gundogan.
There was still time for first-half substitute Kruse to add a seventh goal, equalling Gibraltar's record worst defeat since becoming a UEFA-affiliated member.

Gibraltar have had more shots on target than Germany, thus far. Brilliant stuff.
