Team News: Cristiano Ronaldo features in Portugal starting XI against Ghana

Portugal hand a start to Cristiano Ronaldo in an attacking front three as they take on Ghana in their final Group G game at the World Cup.

Portugal have decided to hand a start to Cristiano Ronaldo against Ghana this afternoon, despite speculation about the winger's fitness at the World Cup.

The Portuguese also include the attacking threats of Nani and Eder, while a supporting midfield role will be played by a trio of Miguel Veloso, William Carvalho and Joao Moutinho.

Ghana have decided to start Andre Ayew, despite his brother Jordan Ayew impressing against Germany, with the African side now without Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng, as both players have been expelled from the tournament.

Portugal: Beto; Amorim, Bruno Alves, Pepe, Pereira; Veloso, Carvalho, Moutinho; Eder, Nani, Ronaldo
