Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Germany could line up in Saturday's Euro 2020 clash with Portugal.

Germany boss Joachim Low could make a change to his forward line for Saturday's key Euro 2020 clash with the competition's reigning champions Portugal in Munich.

Die Mannschaft suffered a 1-0 defeat to France in their tournament opener on Tuesday, meaning that they are under pressure to secure a positive result in their second Group F contest this weekend.

Matthias Ginter had emerged as a doubt due to the leg injury that he picked up in his team's first match at this summer's tournament, but the centre-back has now been passed fit.

Germany struggled to create opportunities in their defeat to France, meaning that changes will certainly be in the mind of their manager heading into the clash with Portugal.

Leroy Sane was the first player off the German bench on Tuesday, and it would not be a surprise to see the Bayern Munich attacker replace Chelsea's Kai Havertz in the starting side.

Timo Werner and Emre Can are also pushing for starting roles, but Low is likely to keep faith with the bulk of the side that took to the field against the tournament favourites.

Joshua Kimmich and Robin Gosens both found it difficult to make their mark in the wing-back areas last time out, but a change of opposition could bring a change in fortunes for DFB-Elf.

Germany possible starting lineup: Neuer; Ginter, Hummels, Rudiger; Kimmich, Gundogan, Kroos, Gosens; Sane, Muller, Gnabry
