Sports Mole's minute-by-minute coverage of today's Premier League clash between Everton and West Ham United from Goodison Park that ends in a 2-0 win for the hosts.

Everton secured sixth place in the Premier League in David Moyes's final home game as Toffees manager with a win over West Ham United.

Kevin Mirallas got the goals as the home side cruised to victory over the Hammers at Goodison Park.

Sam Allardyce's side had a few half chances but Everton could have won at a canter if not for some great saves by Jussi Jaaskelainen and stop from defender James Collins.

2.08pmThis will be David Moyes' last home game as Everton manager before he leaves at the end of the season to join Manchester United as Sir Alex Ferguson's replacement.

2.11pmIt will be an interesting atmosphere inside Goodison Park to see how the fans react to his decision after 11 years at the club.

2.14pmThe team news has just come in from Merseyside, we'll start with the home side.

2.20pmDavid Moyes names an unchanged team to the side that drew 0-0 with Liverpool last week. There's no place in the squad for Phil Neville meaning he will have no send off to the Goodison Park crowd, when he also leaves in the summer.

2.23pmSam Allardyce has made one change to his team from their goalless draw with Newcastle United. Out goes Ricardo Vaz Te and he is replaces in the lineup by Jack Collison.

2 minEarly danger for West Ham to deal with as Baines whips in a dangerous cross but Collins rises highest in the penalty area to deal with it.

3 minAnother chance for Everton to threaten this time from a corner but Baines overhits his delivery but Demel can't direct his header away and it's another Toffees corner.

3 minCHANCE! Mirallas hits the corner in this time and he finds the head of Fellaini who heads down to Distin but he can only put his effort wide of the target.

5 minGOAL!!! Everton 1-0 West Ham (Mirallas)

6 minLovely move by Everton to take the lead as they pass the ball around the West Ham defence. Fellaini works the ball to Mirallas on the edge of the area and he fires his shot past Jaaskelainen into the bottom corner.

8 minEverton are dominating the early stages here and are all over West Ham as they're passing the ball with ease.

10 minCHANCE! Osman surges forward for the Toffees, he's brought down on the edge of the area, but the ball falls to Anichebe who shoots first time and puts his effort wide.

12 minCHANCE! Everton and Osman find space again in midfield and he beats the challenge of Collins and shoots at goal from distance but Jaaskelaninen makes the save.

14 minWest Ham are all over the place defensively as Everton are finding space everywhere. This time Mirallas feeds the overlapping run of Coleman but his delivery into the final third is poor as Reid clears the dangers with a header.

16 minMore lovely football from the home side as Pienaar lifts the ball over the West Ham defence looking for the run of Mirallas but the linesman flags for offside. A let off for the Hammers there.

18 minNot much attacking so far from West Ham and when they finally get a ball into the host's box, the opportunity is spurned as Collison handles and Everton win a free kick.

21 minAnichebe gets the ball on the edge of the area and tries to turn Collins he gets his effort off but the defender gets his body in the way and the ball goes out for a corner.

23 minOh dear!! O'Brien sums up West Ham's afternoon so far by blasting the ball out of touch when left with a simple pass to Jarvis. The Hammers need to get into this game.

25 minCHANCE! Another chance for Everton as Anichebe see his close range effort saved by Jaaskelainen after Mirallas had done well to carve out the opening for the striker.

28 minWest Ham finally have a spell of possession as Collison and Nolan knock the ball around nicely in midfield but this is ended by Demel as he hoofs a long ball into the penalty area, which Howard claims.

30 minCHANCE! West Ham's first opportunity of the game falls to Nolan inside the penalty area, he gets his powerful effort on target but Howard produces a good save to keep it out.

33 minWest Ham have a chance to pump the ball into the box after Carroll wins a free kick but Jarvis's cross is well cleared by the Everton defence.

36 minIncisive counterattack from Everton as Coleman robs Jarvis and raids upfield. Mirallas returns the pass into the final third to the right back but his cross is cut out by Reid.

37 minCHANCE! Osman lofts a ball to the back-post where Fellanini's waiting, the midfielder takes the ball in stride and blasts at goal but Colllins is there yet again to make a block.

39 minMirallas has had a very good first half and is making Everton tick at the moment, he could have had another crack at goal but the ball from Osman just didn't fall for him in the penalty area.

41 minChance for West Ham to whip a free kick from a decent position after Baines handballs deep in Everton territory.

42 minOh dear!! A let off for Everton as O'Neil's delivery is terrible and goes over the head of everyone in the area and out for a goal kick.

45 minOne minute of added time to be played.

45 + 1 minHALF-TIME: Everton 1-0 West Ham

3.50pmEverton lead at the break thanks to a Kevin Mirallas strike and they thoroughly deserve it, as they've been by far the better side in the first-half.

3.51pmThe Toffees passing has been crisp and fluid and they could be further ahead if not for some great last ditch defending from James Collins.

3.53pmWest Ham have had one chance in this game and that went to Kevin Nolan but Tim Howard was equal to it. The Hammers have been poor so far and Sam Allardyce will want to see a lot more from his team after the break.

49 minColeman raids forward and gets a cross in which flashes across the face of goal but no player in Blue is there to turn the ball into the net.

51 minCHANCE! Everton drive forward again through Pienaar he raids into the box and lays the ball back to Coleman on the edge who drills a shot but Collins is there yet again to block his goalbound effort.

53 minCHANCE! Another Everton chance this time Baines delivers a wonderful ball to the back-post where Osman was waiting he fires a low volley at goal from a tight angle but the ball goes wide.

54 minSubstitution: Joe Cole comes onto replace Jack Collison for West Ham.

57 minCalm period in the game at the minute as the Toffees control possession in the West Ham half, without really showing any urgency to drive forward.

59 minCHANCE! Wonderful play by Mirallas as he beats his man down the left and tries to fire the ball into the top corner from a tight angle but his effort goes just over.

60 minGOAL!!!! Everton 2-0 West Ham (Mirallas)

60 minEverton double their lead and Mirallas gets his second of the day as Gibson plays a lovely through ball through the middle which releases him, he beats a defender before firing at goal and into the net. The ball did take a deflection off Collins and it looped over Jaaskelainen.

62 minCHANCE! It's almost three for Everton as Osman coasts in down the left, he fires at goal with his left foot but this time Jaaskelainen beats the ball away. It's all the home side at the moment.

65 minWest Ham are all over the place at the minute they just can't cope with Everton at all.

67 minSAVE! What a save by Jaaskelainen as he somehow keeps a low effort from Osman out at point blank range. Pienaar raids down the left and cuts the ball back to the midfielder, he does all he can to score but the former Bolton Wanderers stopper was there with a big hand. Amazing save!

70 minCHANCE! Everton are almost in again as Pienaar gets into the box but his effort somehow misses the target with Jaaskelainen and Collins at full stretch to keep the ball out.

73 minSubstitutions: Anichebe goes off and is replaced by Nikica Jelavic while Gary O'Neil is off for Mark Noble for West Ham.

75 minEverton have taken the pace out of the game now and seem quite content to sit on their two goal lead.

77 minA testing corner for the West Ham defence to deal with as Baines whips in a cross but Collins is there yet again to clear the danger.

80 minCHANCE! A rare chance for West Ham as Cole fires at goal from close range but he can't beat Howard who makes a good stop.

82 minCHANCE! Everton nearly hit straight back at West Ham and again it's that man Jasskelainen who makes a good low save to deny Osman after good build-up play down the left from Baines and Pienaar to create the opportunity.

85 minEverton threaten but Fellaini wastes a good opportunity as he lifts his effort over from close range from a Baines free kick.

87 minOFF THE POST!! Jarvis whips in a dangerous cross the left and finds the head of Carroll who rises highest in the penalty area but his header clips the post and goes wide. So close to a goal there.

89 minThis game is easing to halt now as Everton are sitting back and just keeping the ball between the defence and midfield.

90 minThree minutes of added time.

90 + 1 minColeman has the chance to set Osman free for a third goal but he can't pass the ball around O'Brien and the opportunity is gone.

4.55pmThat's it David Moyes wins his final home game as Everton boss in a comfortable 2-0 victory thanks to a brace from Kevin Mirallas.

4.57pmEverton fully deserve their win as they were by far the better side during the afternoon and now they have secured sixth place this season, it's a pretty good send off for David Moyes.

4.59pmThe Everton fans are showing their appreciation for David Moyes and his players for a fine effort this season. It's a good farewell for him before he leaves in the summer to take charge of Manchester United.
