Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how England could line up for Wednesday's World Cup 2022 Qualifying clash with Poland.

England manager Gareth Southgate could once again make a full complement of changes for his side's World Cup 2022 qualifying battle with Poland on Wednesday night.

The Three Lions boss made no fewer than 11 alterations for Sunday's 4-0 thrashing of Andorra, where Tyrone Mings picked up a yellow card which has ruled him out of this contest.

However, Mings and Conor Coady were always going to drop out for Harry Maguire and John Stones, while Reece James and Kieran Trippier prepare to make way for Kyle Walker and Luke Shaw.

Sam Johnstone earned a rare start in goal against Andorra but will pass the gloves back to Jordan Pickford, who is set to win his 40th cap for the national team this week.

Trent Alexander-Arnold featured in an unfamiliar midfield role alongside Liverpool teammate Jordan Henderson on Sunday, but the steadfast duo of Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips are set to be recalled here.

Jude Bellingham once again caught the eye with his energetic display at the weekend but is preparing to drop out for Mason Mount, while Bukayo Saka - celebrating his 20th birthday - and Jesse Lingard both proved their worth to Southgate with multiple goal contributions last time out.

However, the two attackers will take their spots on the bench here as Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish return to the first XI, while 40-goal captain Harry Kane is set to displace Patrick Bamford following the Leeds United man's frustrating debut.

England possible starting lineup: Pickford; Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw; Rice, Phillips; Sterling, Mount, Grealish; Kane
