Barcelona and Juventus are both reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha on a free transfer next June.

Barcelona and Juventus have reportedly joined the race for Wilfried Zaha, with the European heavyweights keeping a close eye on his situation at Crystal Palace.

The Ivory Coast international is yet to sign a new deal with the Eagles, and with his current terms due to expire next June, he would be free to hold talks with foreign clubs at the turn of the year.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are among the Premier League clubs believed to be keen to sign the attacker on a free transfer ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

However, according to the Evening Standard, there is also genuine interest from Barcelona and Juventus, with Palace now expecting to lose their star player at the end of the season.

The report claims that senior officials at Camp Nou believe Zaha would be 'a good fit' for the club due to his 'direct running and smart finishing'.

Juventus, meanwhile, will be looking to bring in a number of new players next summer, and the Old Lady view Zaha as the ideal acquisition at the end of the campaign.

The attacker is believed to want to join a Champions League club if he does leave Palace, and he would be in a position to demand a lucrative salary if he was available on a free transfer.

Zaha has been in impressive form for Patrick Vieira's side during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring five goals and registering one assist in 11 Premier League appearances.

The forward has now represented the Eagles on 441 occasions during two separate spells, scoring 88 goals and contributing 74 assists in the process.

Zaha famously joined Manchester United in 2013, but he failed to make his mark at Old Trafford, only featuring on four occasions in all competitions.

The Palace academy product enjoyed his best scoring season during the 2021-22 campaign, netting 14 times in the Premier League and 15 in all competitions.

"Palace would dearly love to sign Zaha to sign him to a new contract I'm sure. But with free agency looming and he's never had that big move that many anticipated," journalist David Ornstein recently said on the FIVE podcast.

"There'll be a number of clubs who will look at him and wonder if they can get him for nothing in the summer of 2023. There'll be conversations I'm sure. Many in the game feel he'll hold out and go as a free-agent and play in the Champions League."

Barcelona are likely to be in the market for a new wide forward next year, with Memphis Depay and Ferran Torres potentially both leaving the club in search of pastures new.

Zaha largely operates as a left-sided attacker, but he is also capable of playing through the middle and scored against Liverpool at Anfield earlier this season while featuring in that area.
