Burnley are reportedly considering a move for Napoli striker Duvan Zapata, who was the subject of a rejected £12m bid from Torino last month.

Burnley are reportedly mulling over a move for Napoli striker Duvan Zapata.

Manager Sean Dyche has recruited four new players so far, and now he is believed to have switched his focus to Zapata, who was previously linked to West Ham United.

According to the Daily Mail, the 26-year-old could be available for a loan deal, but Napoli would prefer to offload him on a permanent basis.

It is unclear how much money the Serie A club are holding out for, but they reportedly turned down a £12m bid from fellow Italian outfit Torino last month.

Zapata scored 19 goals during a loan spell at Udinese, which spanned two seasons.
