Burnley striker Andre Gray accuses own fans of racism

Burnley ace Andre Gray claims that two supporters are still "living in the stone ages" after allegedly racially abusing him at Valley Parade.

Andre Gray has accused two Burnley supporters of racially abusing him during the pre-season friendly meeting with Bradford City on Saturday.

The 25-year-old scored twice during the opening 17 minutes of the eventual 4-1 victory at Valley Parade to take his tally for the summer to three goals.

Rather than praising fans for their support Gray, who joined the Clarets in a club-record £9m move from Brentford last August, was forced to hit out on Twitter after the match at those who allegedly abused him.

Ben Mee and Michael Kightly were also on target for Burnley in the second half, while Filipe Morais scored Bradford's consolation.
