Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton says that it is "a big boost" for his team to have Anthony Knockaert available once again.

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton has said that it is "a big boost" for his team to have Anthony Knockaert available once again following a suspension.

Knockaert has missed Brighton's last three Premier League matches after picking up a red card in the 2-0 defeat at Everton on March 10.

The 26-year-old is available for Brighton's trip to Crystal Palace this weekend, however, and Hughton has insisted that he will have no problems picking the Frenchman.

"It's a big boost for us because of the ability he has. It's been frustrating for him, and for us, but he's trained harder in this period of about five weeks since the Everton game," Hughton told reporters.

"The reason for that is he knew he was going to miss games. His attitude in training and around the place has been excellent.

"I would look at Anthony the same way I would look at other players, it's about picking a team to play in a game and I would have no hesitation in playing Anthony in any game. If anything you've got somebody who is desperate to get back in to play and have an effect."

Knockaert has scored three times in 27 Premier League appearances for Brighton this season.
