Tuesday's Argentine Primera Division predictions including Banfield vs. Newell's OB

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Argentine Primera Division fixtures, including Banfield vs. Newell's Old Boys.

Barracas Central set out in search of their first home win of the new Argentine Primera Division campaign when they welcome Huracan to the Claudio Fabian Tapia Stadium on Tuesday.

The Globo have failed to taste victory in any of their last seven away matches since the start of February and will head into the midweek clash looking to end this poor run.

We say: Barracas Central 1-1 Huracan

Huracan have enjoyed an impressive start to the new campaign but will need to be at their best on Tuesday against a Barracas side who have been rock-solid at home in recent weeks. Kudelka's men have struggled to grind out results on their travels and we see them holding out for a share of the spoils.

Round four of the 2024 Argentine Primera Division season sees Banfield and Newell's Old Boys lock horns at Estadio Florencio Sola on Wednesday.

The teams were both victorious in their respective most recent outings and will both be looking to pick up where they left off last time out.

We say: Banfield 1-1 Newell's Old Boys

Newell's Old Boys boast the superior record in this fixture of late but their record away to Banfield has been woeful, to say the least. We are backing a share of the spoils with honours even at the sound of the full-time whistle.

Independiente Rivadavia vs. Union (Wednesday, 12.00am)

Still licking their wounds from their Copa Argentina exit, Independiente Rivadavia take on Union at the Estadio Bautista Gargantini in round four of the Argentine Primera Division on Wednesday morning.

While both sides have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the league campaign, the visitors head into the midweek tie as firm favourites, having won each of their previous three encounters since September 2014.

We say: Independiente Rivadavia 1-2 Union

Independiente and Union have enjoyed a solid start to the season and will be looking to keep the juggernaut rolling. However, Cicotello's men have failed to win their last four matches in all competitions and we see them struggling once again.
