Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic hopes to stay at Barcelona for at least three more years as he rules out a move away from Camp Nou.

Ivan Rakitic has insisted that there is nowhere else he would rather be than Barcelona and is hopeful that he will stay at Camp Nou for at least another few years.

There have been plenty of rumours surrounding the 31-year-old's future in recent months, seeing his name linked to the likes of Manchester United, Juventus and Inter Milan.

As the summer transfer window draws nearer, however, the Croatia international has expressed his desire to remain a Barcelona player for the long term.

"I don't want to be anywhere else," he told reporters during Barca's title celebrations on Saturday. "I hope the club, the president, the coach and the fans see this the same way I do.

"I hope they tell me that I'll stay here for another three years. I'd like to be able to point to the three more years on my contract and to say I'll be here three more years. Anything can happen in football, but I am very calm about it all."

Rakitic played the full 90 minutes of Barca's title-sealing win over Levante, taking him to 48 appearances for the season.
