Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo tells Barcelona to forget about making a move for Antoine Griezmann as the striker is not for sale.

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has said that "there is no chance" Antoine Griezmann will be joining La Liga rivals Barcelona in the summer.

Despite only committing his future to Atleti last year, the World Cup-winning striker has once again been linked with a move to Camp Nou.

After a frustrating season for the capital club, it has been claimed that Griezmann feels now is the right time to swap clubs if he is to realise his dream of lifting the Champions League.

Amid reports that Barcelona have revived their interest, however, Cerezo has told the Catalan giants to forget about making an offer.

"There is no chance of Griezmann leaving next summer. He is going to stay at Atletico: 1000%," he told TVE. "Those that will go, will go. And those that will stay, will stay...

"Griezmann is an Atletico player and will be for many years, so it would be good if [the media] dropped the matter..."

Atletico have already lost defender Lucas Hernandez to Bayern Munich, with that £68m deal scheduled to go through at the end of the season.
