Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona boss Xavi has a number of big decisions to make when it comes to team selection for Sunday's La Liga contest with Atletico Madrid in the Spanish capital.

The Catalan outfit have no injury concerns heading into the contest, but they will be missing both Jordi Alba and Robert Lewandowski through suspension.

Lewandowski has scored 18 times in 20 appearances for Barcelona this season, but he will now begin a three-game suspension in Spain's top flight.

Ferran Torres is widely expected to be given the nod through the middle, while Ansu Fati could be picked ahead of Raphinha to feature in the front three alongside Ousmane Dembele.

Gavi could be the player to miss out on a spot in central midfield, with Frenkie de Jong potentially featuring alongside Pedri and Sergio Busquets.

There are also big decisions to be made in a defensive area; Jules Kounde could be asked to play as the right-back in this match, with fit-again Ronald Araujo potentially featuring alongside Andreas Christensen in the middle of the back four.

Alejandro Balde is likely to be given the nod at left-back, meanwhile, leaving Marcos Alonso on the bench.

There will be a number of changes from the side that started against Intercity in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday, but Araujo, Kounde, Busquets, Dembele and Torres should keep their spots.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Christensen, Balde; Pedri, Busquets, F de Jong; Dembele, F Torres, Fati
