Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Getafe

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash with Getafe.

Barcelona will be looking to keep pace with Real Madrid when they head to Getafe on Saturday for their next La Liga outing.

The reigning Spanish champions twice recovered from a goal behind to beat Real Betis 3-2 in their most recent match, leaving them three points behind leaders Madrid.

Following their surprise Copa del Rey exit at the hands of Athletic Bilbao last week, Barca now have a week's rest before taking on Getafe at Camp Nou.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the Catalan giants' latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash.

Ousmane Dembele

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Ousmane Dembele has been on the sidelines since picking up a thigh problem during the Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund in November. The 22-year-old, who has struggled with injuries throughout his time at Camp Nou, suffered another setback in training earlier this month and will not play again until 2020-21.

Luis Suarez

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Luis Suarez underwent an operation last month after damaging the external meniscus on his right knee. The Uruguay international is out for the foreseeable future, although it is thought that he will be available for selection before the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

Neto

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: February 15 (vs. Getafe)

Neto was not included in Barca's squad against Valencia, Levante or Betis due to an ankle sprain. The club's number two goalkeeper has not been officially ruled out of this match, although the Brazilian faces a fight to prove his fitness.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Clement Lenglet

Clement Lenglet was sent off for two bookable offences in the win against Betis and will therefore serve a one-match ban.
