Andres Iniesta says that Barcelona must "turn the page" and ensure that their Champions League exit does not cost them success in La Liga and the Copa del Rey.

Barcelona playmaker Andres Iniesta has called on his teammates to "turn the page" in the final weeks of the season and recover from a poor run of form.

The Catalan giants have lost three of their last four matches to go out of the Champions League and open the door for Madrid duo Atletico and Real in the La Liga title race.

Diego Simeone's Atletico beat them 3-2 on aggregate on Wednesday and they are now just three points behind Barca in the league, with Real a further point back.

"We're not in very positive form," Iniesta admitted on the club website. "We have to find strength from somewhere because what we still have to play for is very nice too.

"Difficult times like this always generate doubts but we have to turn the page and focus on what we have left."

Barca are still on course to do the domestic double as they face Sevilla in the Copa del Rey final next month.

Bayern Munich's Spanish head coach Pep Guardiola watch proceedings during the German Cup DFB Pokal second round football match between VfL Wolfsburg vs FCB Bayern Munich in Wolfsburg, on October 27, 2015.
