Chelsea reportedly table a £25m bid for Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has one year left on his contract at the Emirates.

Chelsea have reportedly offered £25m to Arsenal for the signature of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Premier League champions have been linked to the England international in recent weeks, while Liverpool have also been named as rumoured suitors.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have stepped up their pursuit of the 23-year-old, but so far they have been knocked back by their London rivals, who are keen for the versatile player to sign a new contract.

Oxlade-Chamberlain currently has one year remaining on his deal at the Emirates, and if he fails to pen fresh terms, then the Gunners risk losing him for nothing next summer.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte recently admitted that he wants more signings before the transfer window shuts at the end of this month.

So far, the West London outfit have recruited Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata.
