Birmingham City are reportedly keen to end the loan period of Arsenal defender Cohen Bramall before the end of the month.

Birmingham City have reportedly contacted Arsenal over ending the loan spell of defender Cohen Bramall.

Twelve months ago, Bramall completed a sensational switch to the Emirates Stadium from non-league Hednesford Town and made a number of appearances for the Gunners during pre-season.

However, Arsene Wenger allowed the left-sided player to link up with Birmingham until the summer, only for the 21-year-old to make just three appearances for the Championship side.

According to The Mirror, that has led to boss Steve Cotterill deciding that he is happy for Bramall to return to the Emirates Stadium midway through his period in the West Midlands.

Should Bramall return to the Premier League outfit, he would be eligible to represent another club on a temporary basis having not played a competitive game for Arsenal this season.
